Plastics and Materials Processing Industry Training Organisation (PaMPITO)

PaMPITO is the industry training organisation for the paint and coatings manufacturing sector (including inks, resins and adhesives). It also covers plastics processing, glass container manufacturing, pharmaceutical and therapeutic products manufacturing industry sectors.

PaMPITO is funded by government to ensure employees in its industry sectors have the skills they need to meet current and future requirements.

PaMPITO does this by developing and maintaining nationally recognised skill standards, arranging training solutions for companies and assisting individuals with their training.

There are several relevant qualifications offered by PaMPITO for the paint industry including:
– the National Certificates in Paint Manufacturing levels 2 & 3,
– Qualifications in Competitive Manufacturing levels 2, 3, 4 & 5
– Business and First Line Management qualifications levels 3 & 4
– Distribution and Warehousing qualifications levels 2 & 3.

Other qualifications and programmes are also available, which are also applicable for the range of employees in the paint industry.
